The Award Winning Watchman Oil Tank Alarm consists of a transmitter and receiver unit. The transmitter unit is fitted to the oil tank and measures the oil level inside. This information is relayed wirelessly to the receiver unit, which cleverly and conveniently plugs into a standard 3 pin domestic socket, where it is displayed via an easy to read LCD display.
In the event of a sudden drop in the level of fuel stored inside the tank, this will be picked up by the oil level sensor and the oil tank alarm will be activated on the receiver unit, alerting the oil tank owner and allowing necessary action to be taken.

This electronic wireless device replaces the need for a dipstick or sight level gauge by remotely monitoring the oil level within your oil tank. A green transmitter is fitted to the top of the oil tank which transmits the reading to a receiver which is plugged into a socket in the home or office. The replacement of oil tank consists of the following;
- Check the tank for the presence of water,
- Transfer the fuel from the existing tank in to a holding tank,
- Remove and dispose of the old tank in accordance with current regulations,
- Construct a base as required to support the new tank,
- Install the new tank, complete with a new valve, filter and watchman oil level sensor,
- Connect to the existing oil line and test the oil line,
- Transfer your fuel to the new tank through a filter to remove any dirt.
- Test the appliance.
